Thanks for good “Taste”

ESAC would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the 12th Annual A Taste of Jamaica Plain on Nov. 15 a wonderful and successful event. This year’s Taste raised a record $50,000 for ESAC’s programs in sustainable homeownership, asthma prevention, youth education and community organizing.

We extend a special thanks to all of our restaurants, bakeries and caterers that contributed their time and talent to the culinary feast, including Alchemist Restaurant, Amir’s Caterers, Amory Restaurant, Ban Chiang House, Bella Luna, Blue Frog Bakery, Boschetto Bakery, Sam Adams, Bukhara Indian Bistro, Canto 6, Dogwood Café, Fiore’s Bakery, James’s Gate, J.P. Licks, JP Seafood Café, Masona Grill, Nuestra Culinary Ventures, Sweet Finnish, Ten Tables, Ula Café, West on Centre and Wonder Spice Café.

This year’s Taste honored Bukhara Indian Bistro and James’s Gate on the occasion of their 10th anniversaries. Each restaurant has participated in Taste every year since they opened their doors.

The success of A Taste of JP would not be possible without the financial support of the over 100 businesses, community groups and elected officials who contribute to the program book and donate to our silent auction and raffle. We very much appreciate their ongoing commitment to ensuring stability in our community.

See you at A Taste of Jamaica Plain 2008!
