Gabriel Feld
It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our dear friend Gabriel Feld of Jamaica Plain. Gabriel was a part of so many incredible communities here in Boston, from fire breathers and poi spinners to massage therapists and bodyworkers. He was an innovative yoga teacher and friend to countless others. You would know Gabriel by his quick smile, easy laughter and the ability to enthusiastically support and compliment every-thing about you. Many of his friends and family are stunned by his sudden loss and have come together to celebrate his life with yoga classes, seaside ceremonies, breathwork, bonfires, meditations, walks in the Arboretum and amazing stories—stories about his healing bodywork, a baby bird he rescued, fireworks in the snow, a green door on the back of a white car and silver fireproof suits. To witness Gabriel was to know the power of fire spinning, the kindness of warm supportive hands and the delight of watching inspiration and creation merge with love and laughter. Gabriel, you were a great friend, artist, healer, teacher and love. With this deep ache in our hearts, know that you will be terribly missed. Shine on.
