Just one more reason to love JP, and the people who live here:
Last week, while I was walking near English High School, an envelope containing a check worth over $100 fell out of my bag. I was far away by the time I realized it was missing.
Today, I received that same check back in the mail with a nice Happy New Year note, but no name or return address to which I could send a thank you.
I send my deepest thanks to the thoughtful neighbor who sent back the check. I will endeavor to honor your act of kindness by paying it forward.
