Man shot in Egleston Square

EGLESTON SQ.—A man was shot near 3106 Washington St. at about 9:30 P.M. on Saturday, Jan. 29, according to a Boston Police Department release. The 20-year-old black man suffered a non-life threatening injury and was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital for treatment.

When asked whether this shooting could be related to the Boylston/Mozart Streets gang feud, BPD spokesperson Jill Flynn said the matter was under investigation and she could not comment.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact Area E-13 detectives at (617) 343-5628.
