A good Samaritan injured his hand while rescuing a woman and a 1-year-old baby from a rollover car accident at Green Street and Brookside Avenue on June 9, according to the Boston Police Department (BPD).
The accident happened around 1:15 p.m. when the woman reportedly attempted to pass a taxi with her vehicle, according to BPD. An unidentified man passing by removed the woman and the baby from the wrecked vehicle, seriously injuring his hand in the process.
The woman suffered an arm injury and the baby had cuts on its foot, according to BPD. They and the taxi driver were transported to hospitals.
