Army National Guard Pvt. Angel L. Ortiz of Jamaica Plain recently graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
Ortiz is a 2008 graduate of Madison Park Technical Vocational High School and this year earned an associate’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
