Rick Sullivan (second from right), the state’s energy and environment secretary, releases one of 1,100 trout into Jamaica Pond during the annual fish stocking April 25. Joining him were (from left) state Fish and Game Commissioner Mary Griffin, state Rep. Jeffrey Sánchez, Gov. Anyone with a valid state fishing license can fish in the pond, which is stocked from state hatcheries several times a year.
