Boston Public Schools is serving free breakfast and lunch to any children and youths ages 4-18 at more than 140 sites around the city this summer through Aug. 30.
The annual program ensures good nutrition for kids in need. No registration or ID are needed.
Last year, meals were offered at nine Jamaica Plain locations, including various schools, community centers and nonprofit organizations. The full list is available at schoollunchboston.wordpress.com or by calling 1-800-645-8333.
The meals program is a collaboration among BPS, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the state Department of Education, the City of Boston and Project Bread.
