Gordon Gano (far right), former singer and violinist for the 1980s hit band Violent Femmes, plays with local band Tallahassee in a surprise appearance at a June 24 JP Music Festival fund-raiser at the Tres Gatos bookstore/restaurant at 470 Centre St. Gano, whose sister lives in JP, performed at the debut local music fest in 2011.
