Some of the 100 attendees are all smiles at a meet-and-greet held by the new nonprofit business association JP Local First July 24 at the Loring-Greenough House in Monument Square. The group is open to local, independent JP businesses, and also to indie businesses in adjacent neighborhoods in the hopes of spinning off their own Local First groups later. JP Local First has nearly 40 members and is growing. For more info, see jplocalfirst.org. (Photo by Lindsay Metivier)
