Egleston Market to start Nov. 2

The Egleston Farmers Market is kicking off its second winter season Nov. 2 with Jamaica Plain’s Ten Tables chef Eric Cooper, who will share ideas on what to make with the produce available at the market.

The farmer’s market, which will run every Saturday between Nov. 2 and Feb. 22 except Dec. 28, is held at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Hall at 45 Brookside Ave.

The market has more than 20 local and regional vendors of fresh and prepared foods, along with art, music and information about other activist efforts. It is organized by JP resident Kate Peppard along with leaders from Egleston Square Main Street, JP New Economy Transition and Good Egg Marketing.

For more information about the market, see eglesetonfarmersmarket.org or call 617-942-0194.
