JP man charged with T station robbery try

FOREST HILLS—A Jamaica Plain was charged with attempted armed robbery at the Forest Hills T Station on Oct. 8, according to MBTA Transit Police.

William Ambroult, 40, allegedly demanded money from a man while displaying what appeared to be a handgun in the lobby area of the station at 3700 Washington St. The victim fled and was briefly pursued by the suspect. Transit Police later arrested Ambroult, who allegedly matched the description, but did not have a weapon.
