JP teen Jada Eisenbud (right) meets with U.S. Rep. Niki Tsongas at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., during a June 15-18 event where 150 girls from across the country advocated with political leaders about inequality issues threatening girls in developing countries. The “Girls Count Act” (HR 3398) pending in the U.S. House would direct American foreign policy toward increasing girls’ and women’s rights in such countries. Eisenbud is also a contributor to “Go Girl Global,” an online magazine for young “eco-feminists” created by her mother, JP’s Lisa Eisenbud. For more info, see gogirlglobal.com. (Courtesy Photo)
