Sedgwick SLOG

Runners gather on Sedgwick Street Sept. 13 for the fifth annual Sedgwick SLOG, a team relay race and neighborhood block party sponsored by VeeVee restaurant. Sixty runners—including City Councilor Matt O’Malley—ran the 12-mile race along Centre Street and Jamaica Pond. Finishing in 1 hour, 27 minutes and 10 seconds was the winning team of Stefan Lanfer, Sabra Brown, Carly Grant and Jeremy Fischer—the latter of whom is a “joggler” who flawlessly juggled balls during his entire run.
