Carlos Arredondo, the Boston Marathon bombing rescue hero and peace activist with strong Jamaica Plain ties, and his wife Melida Arredondo on April 6 launched the Arredondo Family Foundation. The foundation will offer financial assistant to people affected by tragedy and provide education on matters relating to military personnel, veterans and their families. Five runners from the charity ran in this year’s Boston Marathon.
