The Jamaica Plain Porchfest has remarkable growth and organizing wisdom for an event that returns for only its second year on July 11.
What a tribute to the creativity of JP’s many musicians and artists. And what a great addition to the pantheon of local cultural events like Wake Up the Earth and the JP Music Festival.
It is great to see a new tradition blossom so quickly. Thanks to Mindy Fried and Marie Ghitman for bringing Porchfest to life and showing us JP’s vitality.
