BRA sets second meeting for 76 Stonley Road project

The Boston Redevelopment Authority will host a second meeting for the 76 Stonley Road development on Aug. 16 to review the changes to the proposal, which includes the height of the project being reduced by one floor.

Developers John Morrissey and Bryan Austin originally planned a 31-unit, 40,940-square-foot project at 76 Stonley Road. But attendees during a BRA-held community meeting on June 15 voiced concerns over the project’s height, density, and lack of cohesiveness with the rest of the neighborhood. They also wanted the project to be subjected to Plan: JP/Rox, the BRA’s planning study for the Columbus Avenue and Washington Street corridor.

The developers now propose a four-story, 30,720-square-foot building with 28 units and 23 below-grade parking spaces.
