Holidays in JP: CURLEY SCHOOL LIBRARY FUNDRAISER

A group of parents and teachers at the Curley K-8 School are starting a fundraising effort, including a holiday shopping day, to raise $70,000 to rebuild the shuttered library at the school. The library was closed five years ago because of budget constraints. On Dec. 16, several Jamaica Plain stores, including On Centre, Boing! JP’s Toy Shop and Streetcar Wine and Beer, will donate a percentage of proceeds to the fundraising effort. For more information, contact Ashley Rao at ashley.f.rao@gmail.com.
