The nonprofit ESAC held its 22th annual Taste of JP on Sept. 14 at the Franklin Park Zoo. Jamaica Plain City Councilor Matt O’Malley and local state Rep. Jeffrey Sanchez and other guests sampled offerings of more than 10 local restaurants. Taste of JP is a major fundraiser for ESAC, a social service agency. ESAC normally hosts a silent auction during the event, but it was postponed because of rain until Oct. 5 between 5 and 8 p.m. at 709 Centre St. For more information, visit esacboston.org.
