Local state Reps. Liz Malia and Jeffrey Sanchez honored players from the Boston Slammers girls baseball team at the State House earlier this fall. The team, which is an all girls baseball team made up of mostly from the JP Regan Youth League players, was honored for winning the Baseball for All National 11 and under girls baseball tournament in Rockford, Ill.
