Egleston Farmers Market kicks off new season

The Egleston Farmers Market will kick-off its spring/summer season at the Wake Up the Earth Festival on May 5 and will have an official opening on May 12, according to a press release.

The market will be open every Saturday during its season at 31 Germania St. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to the press release, the market will have many returning vendors, such as El Colombiano (coffee), Mr Tamole, Red’s Best fish, Third Cliff bakery, Urban Kitchen Handmade, Neighborhood Farm and The Food Project. First-year vendors for the market include City Compost, Koshari Mama, One Pine Day, Mass Hole Donuts and Brookford Farm, which will be offering a wide variety of meats and cheeses. The market will also have live musical entertainment and children’s activities every Saturday.
