Stabbing/shooting leads to two fatalities
Two people were shot and another person was stabbed in the Mildred C. Hailey Apartments on Nov. 19, leading to two fatalities, according to the Boston Police Department.
Police responded to 60 Bickford St. around 5:45 p.m. and found one male stabbed and a female and another male shot in a hallway. The male shooting victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two victims were transported to a local area hospital. The female was later pronounced dead. The victims were all known to each other, according BPD.
According to BPD, the case remains an active death investigation as the department awaits autopsies on the two fatalities.
Woman shot in Jackson Square
A woman was shot in Jackson Square on Nov. 13, leading to non-fatal injuries.
According to the Boston Police Department, police responded to a call at 3:11 p.m. on Nov. 13 in the area of 265 Centre St. and found a victim who had been shot. The victim was transferred to a local area hospital.
Following the shooting, there was a vehicle crash at the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Tremont Street, though BPD is not sure those two incidents are related.
Jamaica Plain City Councilor Matt O’Malley on Nov. 13 Tweeted, “On scene in the Jackson Square area of JP where a woman was shot earlier this afternoon. Spoke with Boston Police who said that the victim is stable but in critical condition. It remains a very active investigation and BPD are pursuing several leads.”
