Norberto Zylbersztajn
We mourn the passing of Norberto Zylbersztajn

Norberto Zylbersztajn was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, emigrated to the United States in 1962 and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

Z, as he was known, spent much of his adult life helping others in his social services’ career. He spent years working with youth at Concilio

Hispano and then, later in life, with recovering addicts at Askia Academy/Dimock. Most recently, Z had been a site manager with Caritas Communities, a perfect fit for his strict brand of caring.

Z did have his own taxi company in the 90s, Conquering Lion of Judah Cab, with an ites, gold and green logo.

As much as Z helped others in his professional life, he was 10 times more caring as a family man. He was the original girl-dad before it was even a thing. His daughters will convince you Dad was the best, for hours on end. Z made everyone laugh with his jokes and made everyone feel heard and seen with his heart. Norberto was an amazing husband, father and man who will be deeply missed and forever loved.
