    •The Jamaica Plain Gazette publishes information about Jamaica Plain and its residents. News runs the gamut in JP, with residents facing transportation, housing, green space, youth sports, youth activities, senior sections, arts and many other issues every year.

    •The Gazette does objective reporting, not advocacy journalism. People's opinions are included in quotations in news stories and letters to the editor.

    •The Gazette sometimes uses free-lance reporters to cover stories. In addition, the Gazette is frequently fortunate to have interns from local high schools and colleges.
