• Due to a reporting error, the article about the new Runway 14/32 at Logan Airport (“NW Winds to blow noise to JP,” Dec. 1) stated that small planes taking off from that runway would fly over JP. In fact, use of that runway will not send planes over this neighborhood. It will cause an increase in large planes taking off from Runway 27, which directly impacts JP. Also, airplanes are allowed to fly over South Boston and parts of downtown where there are no tall buildings.

• Due an editing error, the caption on the photo of seniors having a Thanksgiving celebration at Curtis Hall in the Dec. 1 issue neglected to give complete information about the event. The meal that fed 120 local senior citizens was hosted by the teen service group Life for Life, whose director is Pastor Ivan Cutts, in collaboration with Olga Dummott of Curtis Hall Senior Center. For information about getting involved with Life for Life, call 427-8975.
