Homicide suspect arrested

A Hyde Park man was arrested in Florida last week as a suspect in the Sept. 26 stabbing death of a Jamaica Plain resident.

Robert Kelley Jr. was found lying on a Perkins Street sidewalk near the Jamaicaway, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Michael Rosado, 30, of Hyde Park was arrested in Hollywood, Fla., by US Marshals and Boston and local police officers. A warrant for his arrest had been issued in September.

Police and prosecutors have begun the process of having Rosado returned to Boston. He is expected to face arraignment in JP’s West Roxbury District Court.
