Wilkerson costs taxpayers

It is really time for state Sen. Dianne Wilkerson to go. I can’t believe in addition to the cost of the constant court and campaign finance cases against her, the taxpayers are now going to spend extra money monitoring Wilkerson’s campaign to prevent future abuses. “All of these allegations… fit into a pattern that frankly seems capable of repetition,” according to the Globe’s quote of Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley.

Why on earth do we keep electing a person with such ethical and/or organizational lapses? If the Senator were really serious about reforming her practices, why did she drag this all out for so long instead of admitting to the charges and making financial amends from the beginning? She claims she has changed, but I don’t think so.
