I want to thank residents throughout Boston for voting in the Sept. 22 preliminary election for mayor and Boston City Council At-Large. With the support and encouragement of Boston residents throughout the city, I was fortunate enough to have received close to 26,000 votes—a strong third-place finish—in the Boston City Council At-Large preliminary election. I was even the leading vote-getter of the 13 challenger candidates running. My campaign could not have done this without the support of individuals throughout the city, and we are carrying significant momentum into the general election on Nov. 3.
