A Jamaica Plain man was arrested on gun charges in Dorchester on May 16 after Boston Police officers responded to a report of gunshots.
Marcus Hurt, 24, of JP is charged with carrying a loaded firearm and unlawful possession of a gun and ammo, according to the Boston Police Department (BPD).
Hurt was arrested on Winston Road after allegedly running away from police officers and tossing a handgun into a front yard, according to BPD.
