Death ruled homicide

 

HYDE SQ.—The death of Brenda Pawlowski, 49, of Boston, whose body was found behind a house at 21 Kenney St. Feb. 8 is being investigated as a possible homicide, according to information provided by the Boston Police Department (BPD) last week.

“The medical examiner has determined the manner of death to be homicide and the cause of death to be gunshot wound,” according to a BPD press statement.

Initial reports of the discovery of the body last week indicated that the victim had suffered apparent head trauma, but no mention was made of a gunshot wound.
