HYDE SQ.—A Charlestown man is facing burglary charges after being arrested on the top of a check cashing business’s roof at 3 a.m.
Brett G. Callahan, 20, was charged with possession of burglary tool and breaking and entering on March 22 atop Boston Checkcashers at 360 Centre St., according to the Boston Police Department. Police officers responding to an alarm reportedly found a back door open and a pair of bolt-cutters nearby.
Boston firefighters helped officers remove the suspect from the roof.
