Whole Foods Markets’ long-awaited community meeting still had not been scheduled as of early this week, but Whole Foods spokesperson Robin Rehfield told the Gazette it will happen this month.

“We hope to have it solidified…later this week or early next week. The Town Hall meeting will definitely be in May, though,” Rehfield said in an email.

While many in Jamaica Plain have been waiting for Whole Foods to schedule that meeting, the grocer has been attempting to communicate directly with JP residents for months.

“The Twitter feed, #WFM_JP is run by us,” Rehfield told the Gazette.

That Twitter feed features updates and photos of renovation work under way at 415 Centre St., which Whole Foods plans to move into this fall and information on sales at other area Whole Foods store among other things.

The feed has been up since March 29.
