Jeffrey K. Chan, Paul Robert Gels, Myong Ha Lee, Yongbin Liang and Xiao Wei Yu made the Fall 2010 Dean’s List at UMass Amherst.

Joshua Mullins achieved the principal’s list; Yushuang Hu, Bredan Hughes and Michael O’Sullivan achieved first honors; and Jonathon Treon achieved second honors at Catholic Memorial School.
H. Perry Hatchfield, Boston University Academy (BUA) junior and Jamaica Plain resident, competed in the Global For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology Championship and won six out of ten matches with his team. BUA placed 22 out of 88 teams in the Curie Division, and 71st out of 352 teams globally, placing them in the top 20 percent.

Bottom Line, a nonprofit that works to improve the college-going and college-graduation rates of disadvantaged urban youth, will receive a $1 million grant to expand its College Success Program.
