The Massachusetts Department of Transportation plans to announce its decision on a Casey Overpass replacement project the week of Jan. 16, spokesperson Michael Verseckes told the Gazette this week. No community meetings have been scheduled.
The aging bridge over the Forest Hills T Station area must be demolished in coming years. There is community debate about whether a new bridge or a new network of surface streets is the better option.
