Century 21 Pondside Realty has bought the property at 662 Centre St., where the Same Old Place pizzeria resides.
“We already own the rest of the block,” said Christ Stamatos, owner of Century 21 Pondside Realty, which is headquartered in that block. “It was a good move to make real estate-wise.”
There are no immediate plans to make any changes to the building, Stamatos said, adding, “We’ll see what happens down the line.” He added he will keep the Same Old Place there.
Stamatos said he bought the building about a month ago, but didn’t have sale price in front of him. City records show the 3,660-square-foot property was assessed at $321,000 in 2011.
Same Old Place owner Fred Ciampa, who was the prior owner of the property, would not comment, saying the information was confidential.
