JP CENTER—JP Centre Yoga, a new yoga studio at 670 Centre St., opened its doors last week.
Besides a variety of yoga classes and related services, the studio aims to movie and DJ nights in its large space, the former home of Temple Sound and Stage. It also has a large lobby with art exhibits where local residents are encouraged to hang out.
The business is run by Jamaica Plain residents Daniel Max, a yoga instructor originally from Israel, and Dr. Sejal Shah, a radiologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. For more information, see jpcentreyoga.com or call 617-942-8936.
