1 wounded in Egleston Sq. shooting

EGLESTON SQ.—A person was shot in the stomach and suffered “life-threatening injuries” yesterday around 3090 Washington St. in Egleston Square, according to the Boston Police Department (BPD).

BPD did not identify the victim or provide their age or gender. The victim was wounded following a report of shots fired on nearby Weld Avenue around 5 p.m., according to BPD. No information about suspects in the shooting was available.
