Violent Femmes singer to play JP show tonight

Gordon Gano, the singer/violinist for the 1980s hit band Violent Femmes, will perform at tonight’s JP Music Festival fund-raiser show at Tres Gatos restaurant and bookstore in a last-minute surprise appearance.

Gano will perform around 9 p.m. and likely will play with the event’s main performer, the JP Americana-rock band Tallahassee, according to festival organizers.
