HYDE SQ.—The Aurum Restaurant, a creative diner with artwork-strewn walls that was featured in the Gazette last month, is slated to appear on a new Food Network television show, according to a press release.
The restaurant, which is run by general manager Andrea Belanger and owner Matt Virzi, will be featured on the second episode of “Buy This Restaurant” on Feb. 12, after the Gazette deadline. Commercial real estate expert Keith Simpson is the star of the show and he helps owners find the ideal space for their restaurants.
The Aurum Restaurant is located at 377 Centre St. and specializes in calzone-type pies that are filled with fresh, local ingredients.
