JP start-up brings artisan food to doorstep

A Jamaica Plain-based start-up business called Glenwood Garden is launching an e-commerce online platform that offers artisan food products, while giving a portion of proceeds to nonprofits, according to a press release.

The food available includes caramels, teas, jams and spices. Glenwood Garden, which is a for-profit business, is offering a special artisan food box for Mother’s Day.

“We’re excited to launch the food box portion of our business, and look forward to delighting moms this year for the holiday. It’s no coincidence that our first artisan food box is for Mother’s Day. I’m looking for something special to give to my mom, too,” said Jonah Rapino, who founded Glenwood Garden with his dad Norm, according to the press release.
