The truly official arrival of spring in Jamaica Plain is the annual Wake Up the Earth Parade and Festival, sponsored by Spontaneous Celebrations, which made its 35th appearance May 3. These are some images taken during the Monument Square parade, one of three separate parades that met at the festival grounds on the Southwest Corridor Park.
