The MBTA will issue the timeline for demolition of its office building at 500 Arborway in the next few weeks, MBTA spokesperson Joe Pesaturo told the Gazette.
No specific dates are yet known, though Pesaturo previously said demo work would begin this summer.
The demolition is part of site preparation for a new bus maintenance facility planned there, though it is currently unfunded. A temporary facility operates elsewhere on the same property.
The City of Boston is relocating a pole yard from the Arborway site to American Legion Highway as another part of the site prep.
