New Egleston Sq. festival postponed

Celebrate Egleston Square, a new neighborhood arts and music festival, has been postponed to August. It was originally scheduled for June 28.

The festival, planned to become an annual event, is slated include music acts Willy Rodriguez Salsa Quintet, James “JC” Carr and Fernandito Ferrer, from Puerto Rico.

The day was also planned to include pop-up art spaces in various locations along Washington Street as well as children’s activities and domino tables.

Egleston Square Main Streets Executive Director Luis Cotto did not immediately answer a Gazette email.
