Real Estate Today: Parcel U meeting scheduled

A Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA)-hosted meeting for the Parcel U project, scheduled for Mon., Sept. 29, will present design details and technical studies about traffic, air and noise.

Shawn Pang, spokesperson for designer Urbanica, told the Gazette that there have been “no significant changes” to the project since it was last presented to the community earlier this year.

Urbanica plans to create 76 rental units and 48 condo units on the former MBTA parcel, bounded by Hyde Park Avenue on the east and Ukraine Way on the north and extending just south of Walk Hill Street.

The project would also include 1,620 square feet of retail space and just over 1,000 square feet of community space.

Most of the length of the site will be developed into three- and four-story townhouses, plus a five-story rental apartment building on the corner of Ukraine Way and Hyde Park Avenue.

The meeting is scheduled for Sept. 29, 6-7:30 p.m, at Woodbourne Apartments, 6 Southbourne Road.

The project’s website is parcel-u.com. The project’s BRA webpage is bostonredevelopmentauthority.org/projects/development-projects/parcel-u.
