How to send condolences to Menino family

Anyone wishing to share memories and condolences with the family of the late former Mayor Thomas Menino can do so in several ways, the City announced today.

A memorial area in the lobby of Boston City Hall is open until 11 p.m. tonight, Oct. 30.

Starting tomorrow, Oct. 31, condolence books will be available for public signing at all branch libraries and City community centers. In the JP area, those libraries include the Connolly (433 Centre St.), Egleston Square (2044 Columbus Ave.) and Jamaica Plain (12 Sedgwick St.) branches, and the Curtis Hall (20 South St.) and Hennigan Elementary School (200 Heath St.) community centers.

Cards may be mailed to: Mayor Menino’s Office, Boston University, 75 Bay State Road, Boston, MA 02215.

A memorial website at tommenino.org is also accepting photos and comments from the public.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Thomas M. Menino Fund for Boston.
