Family Ride

Bicyclists enjoy the first annual family-friendly Halloween Bike Ride in JP on Oct. 27. Organized by spouses Naomi Roth and Sarah Gaudette, it drew about 40 people for a ride from Green Street T Station to Forest Hills Cemetery, and including a costume contest for kids. Local businesses Stop & Shop, Hatched, Boing! and J.P. Licks donated items for the event, which was intended as an earlier-starting version of a larger bike ride that this year moved to Copley Square. (Photo by Naomi Roth)
