Police seek suspect in store robberies

Boston police are seeking a man they believe robbed four local stores at gunpoint in recent weeks.

The Boston Police Department released security-camera photos of the suspect in a Jan. 16 robbery at the City Feed and Supply store at 66 Boylston St. BPD says detective believe the same man also robbed Metro PCS, 319 Centre St., on Dec. 26; JP Auto Service, 429 Centre St., on Jan. 3; and JP Variety Store, 162 South St., on Jan. 6.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-feet-11-inches tall, slim build, with brown hair. He was wearing a black, white and gray jacket with a stripe across the chest; a gray hooded sweatshirt under the jacket; blue jeans; and dark sunglasses. In the City Feed robbery, he pointed a black handgun at the clerk and demanded money.
