Restaurateur Krista Kranyak is planning a second Grass Fed burger restaurant, with the new location being in Forest Hills.
“I am very excited to become a part of this awesome neighborhood,” said Kranyak in an email to the Gazette. “I love all the restaurants around there and the awesome people. It is an exciting time with all of the new development that is happening in that area.”
She opened the original Grass Fed at 605 Centre St. in 2012. Kranyak is also the founder of the nearby Ten Tables.
She said it has always been her intention to have more than one Grass Fed and that the new location would be “very similar” to the original.
“However, I am hoping to be approved for a full liquor license, so I can incorporate fun cocktails into the menu mix,” said Kranyak.
If everything is approved through the permitting process, she said she hopes to open in February. The second Grass Fed would replace the former Tonic restaurant at 3698 Washington St.
