Obituary: Edward Foch, former JP resident and owner of Callahan’s Men’s Stores, dies

Edward Foch of Hingham, formerly of Dedham and Jamaica Plain, died on Sept. 27 surrounded by his loving family.

Ed owned and operated Callahan’s Men’s Stores in both Jamaica Plain and Roxbury. He was a World War II veteran serving with the United States Army and was the proud recipient of many military service awards and medals. He was also a proud alumni of Boston University. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.

Beloved husband of 60 years to Esther M. Callahan. Loving father of Karen M. Masters and her husband, Richard, of Halifax. Cherished Grampy to Shelly M. Masters and her fiance, Matthew Pitts, of Halifax. Brother of Paul M. Callahan of Jamaica Plain and the late Donald P. Callahan and Gloria A. Callahan.

He was buried at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
