Several local bike organizations will be putting on “JP Bike Week Festival” from May 13 to May 19, according to a press release.
The events, which are being held by Ferris Wheels Bike Shop with Revolution Bicycle Repair and Bikes Not Bombs, will include bike rides, bike maintenance training, kids skills rodeo, and movie night.
“Most bike week events are downtown. We need a festival in JP to celebrate all the great bike riding and local bike shops and fun right here,” said Jeffrey Ferris, owner of Ferris Wheels Bike Shop, according to the press release.
The festival kicks off with the 10th Annual Spring Roll bike ride/parade at the South Street tennis courts at 10 a.m. on May 13.
